Authentic Lao cuisine & international flavours — with the most breathtaking view in Southeast Asia
Viewpoint was created to celebrate the beauty of Luang Prabang. Inspired by the peaceful rhythm of the rivers and the warm spirit of Lao hospitality, we built a space where travellers and locals can gather, share stories, and enjoy simple, delicious food with one of the most breathtaking views in town.
Watch local fishermen at work, river cruise boats glide gently past, and the sun melt into the mountains every evening. There is simply no better spot in Luang Prabang.
“Absolutely stunning location right at the confluence of two rivers. The Lao food was fresh and flavorful, and the sunset view is simply unbeatable. A must-visit in Luang Prabang.”
Birthdays, family dinners, small weddings, sunset gatherings — every occasion feels special by the river. Our team handles every detail so you can simply enjoy the moment.
We deliberately don’t offer Wi-Fi. Put down the screen, breathe in the view, and enjoy real conversation. The confluence of two rivers deserves your full, undivided attention.
Hotel guests enjoy a generous riverside breakfast from 7:00–10:00 AM. Choose buffet or à la carte — fresh tropical fruits, pastries, eggs your way, and local Lao specialties.

“The papaya salad and river fish were incredible — so fresh. And the view! We stayed for three hours just watching the rivers and the boats. The staff were so warm and attentive.”
“We came for a cocktail at sunset and ended up staying for dinner. The Luang Prabang salad is a must. Best meal of our entire trip to Laos — the atmosphere is magical at night with the fairy lights.”
Reservations strongly recommended for dinner, especially November–February peak season.
