Our Story

Where the Mekong & Nam Khan Rivers Gently Meet

Viewpoint was created to celebrate the beauty of Luang Prabang. Inspired by the peaceful rhythm of the rivers and the warm spirit of Lao hospitality, we built a space where travellers and locals can gather, share stories, and enjoy simple, delicious food with one of the most breathtaking views in town.

Watch local fishermen at work, river cruise boats glide gently past, and the sun melt into the mountains every evening. There is simply no better spot in Luang Prabang.

We deliberately don’t offer Wi-Fi. Put down the screen, breathe in the view, and enjoy real conversation. The confluence of two rivers deserves your full, undivided attention.

Hotel guests enjoy a generous riverside breakfast from 7:00–10:00 AM. Choose buffet or à la carte — fresh tropical fruits, pastries, eggs your way, and local Lao specialties.
