Coach Vincent

Managing Director and Co-Owner

Vincent is the Managing Director and Co-Owner of Spin Tennis, originally from France, with 20 years of coaching experience and a French Tennis Coach Diploma. Coaching in Singapore since 2015, he teaches in English or French and previously worked in France and the United Kingdom.

He also manages the Spin Tennis Academy in Serangoon, coaching over 120 children every week, with a methodology built around adapting balls, rackets and court sizes to each player.

Coach Vadim

Senior Tennis and Pickleball Coach

Vadim is a Russian senior tennis and pickleball coach with 15 years of experience, coaching in Singapore since 2023. He teaches in English, Russian or French, and has experience coaching junior ITF players.

Before Singapore, he worked in Moscow from 2011 to 2022 at the Fit Tennis School and the Moscow Lawn Tennis Club.

Coach Anthony

Senior Tennis Coach

Anthony is a French senior tennis coach from Martinique, and a former U18 champion of Martinique. Certified as a tennis coach in France, he has 7 years of coaching experience gained in Martinique and the south of France.

He teaches players of all levels, from kids as young as 3 to adults, beginners to advanced.

Maxime is a French senior tennis coach with 10 years of experience and a French Tennis Coach Diploma, coaching in Singapore since 2025. He teaches in English or French.

He was previously Head Tennis Coach at the Macau Tennis Club.

Senior Tennis Coach

Jack is a French senior tennis coach with 15 years of experience and a French Tennis Coach Diploma, coaching in Singapore since 2022. He teaches in English or French.

He was previously Head Tennis Coach at Albert Tennis Stadium in France, where he managed a team of 4 coaches and 200 tennis students.

How to choose a tennis coach in Singapore

Check the certification. Ask which federation certified the coach. A diploma means training in progression and injury prevention.

Match the profile to yours. Coaching a 5-year-old, an adult returning after 15 years and a competitive junior are three different jobs.

Mind the language. This matters more than people expect in Singapore, particularly for young children and expat families.

Count the travel. A coach who teaches on your condo court removes the main reason people stop taking lessons.

Take a trial first. One hour on court tells you more than any comparison table.

Questions about our coaches

Are your tennis coaches certified?

Yes. All five hold a French Tennis Federation coaching diploma, with 7 to 20 years of experience each.

Which languages do your coaches teach in?

English, French and Russian, depending on the coach. Tell us your preference when you enquire and we will match you accordingly.

Can I choose my coach?

Yes. If you have no preference we assign the coach whose profile and availability fit your level, schedule and area.

Do coaches travel to my condominium?

Yes, that is our most common format. Where there is no private court we use the nearest ActiveSG public centre.

Do you coach very young children?

Yes, from 3 years old, with adapted balls, rackets and court sizes. Coach Anthony and Coach Vincent handle most of our youngest groups.

Can a coach prepare me for competition?

Yes. Coach Vadim has experience with junior ITF players, and several of our coaches have competed and coached at national level.
